so many questions!

You have so many little questions that don't warrant calling your NHS midwife. You know Google has never actually had a baby & want to avoid going down unhelpful rabbit holes! Just purchase our Expecting PLUS service & message your Expecting midwife today!

unlimited messaging

Send your Expecting midwife direct messages, day or night, during pregnancy and for the first 28 days of your baby's life. Send pictures to clarify "is this normal?"

Your Expecting midwife will respond as soon as she is available. After 28 days your Expecting midwife can still offer support parent-to-parent.

what clients say about us

Freya takes the time to answer all questions and nothing is too much trouble. We also had to call on Freya for help once our baby girl was born as we had issues with latching and feeding and she was amazing.

Just finished a personal zoom call with Freya. What a brilliant service she offers! So personalised, informative and helpful.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can I message?

As many times as you feel is needed to feel you have the answers & support you need.

How quickly will my Expecting midwife respond?

Our midwives work in the NHS too and so could be on a shift & therefore unable to respond for a number of hours. If you feel you need an urgent answer, always seek immediate assistance from a health professional.

Can I message overnight?

Yes. Your Expecting midwife may not see it until the morning but she may actually be on a night shift and be able to respond quickly.

What about days off/holidays?

Your Expecting midwife will have one 24 hour period a week when she will be encouraged by her Expecting team to switch off from devices. You will receive notification for these times.

Expecting classes provide education & information relating to pregnancy, birth & the early days of parenthood. For the avoidance of doubt our messaging service is not a substitute for antenatal/postnatal check-ups or antenatal/postnatal appointments of any other kind. If you have any concerns relating to your pregnancy or the postnatal period, you must seek medical advice from your midwife, GP or obstetrician. Like every midwife, we cannot give official advice other than parent-to-parent if your baby is over 28 days old. We can still offer support after this time.
